XTrack Sp. z o.o. is the manufacturer of the XTrack telematics system, which includes telematics devices, RFID identification systems, dynamic weighing systems, image recording system and mobile applications. The system, which has been in development for 20 years, has become a leader in the municipal industry, resulting in implementations at the largest municipal companies in Poland, and in recent years also in Scandinavia and the Czech Republic.
Today, the company has more than 2,000 customers, monitors 55,000 sites, has implemented more than 400 dynamic weighing systems, 1,800 cameras on vehicles and 400 RFID systems on rubbish trucks, managing 700,000 RFID tags. The system processes 3 million events per day and stores 1,000 TB of data. XTrack products are present in 20 countries through OEM partnerships with renowned technology partners such as Kingspan and Tamtron. As part of these partnerships, XTrack solutions are sold under the OEM partner’s brand.
Nearly half of XTrack’s employees are research staff, which includes development teams, designers and developers of embedded systems.Their high qualifications enable them to conduct R&D projects. Currently, the company is working intensively on the project ‘XTrack Vision AI – a system for optimising the processes of collection, collection, segregation, transport of waste and recyclables based on image processing from on-board cameras of municipal vehicles’.The project will result in an innovative ‘XTrack Vision AI’ system that automates the control of the municipal and industrial waste collection process. The system, based on telematics devices and machine learning algorithms, will enable the detection of events negatively affecting the collection process, the quality of waste segregation and the safety of employees.The completion of the project is awaited by key players in the European market involved in the collection of municipal and industrial waste.
