Digital competencies of cluster coordinators

Project co-financed by the European Union from the ERASMUS+ program

About the project

The main objective of the project is to meet the common needs and priorities of partners in supporting the development of selected digital competencies of cluster coordinators.

As part of the project, we will train office staff in the handling of large data sets, programming and visualization of results, which is expected to result in an increase in the level of digitization of cluster value chains. The project will produce two products – the Guide and the Cluster Development Competency Verifier. Cluster development experience from Austria will be used to implement the project.

About the Cluster

Clusters (cooperation networks) are geographic clusters of interrelated companies (often micro, small and medium-sized), specialized suppliers, service providers, companies operating in related sectors and related institutions (e.g., universities, vocational schools, standards bodies and industry associations) in particular fields, competing with each other, but also cooperating with each other. Clusters represent the interests of a sizable group of companies, most of which are active in key sectors for the development of the European economy.

A cluster coordinator is a group of people who organize and animate the development of interactions, connections, flows and cooperation in a cluster, as well as provide specialized services to institutions operating in a particular cluster.

The project “Digital competencies of cluster coordinators” received funding of EUR 60,000 under the Erasmus+ program.
